Changing Direction

This is a great TED talk by Ken Robinson on education!

This video has been making it's way around the internet.  I am a firm believer that words have great power.

We all need some encouragement from time to time. I saw a coworker watching this video of an amazing little kid.  If this does nothing else, it should at least bring a smile to your face.  Check him out!

Our First Lady continues to inspire.  She is so down to Earth!  Check her out in this cute skit with Jimmy Fallon promoting her "Let's Move" campaign.

We're still in a tough job market and for those who have real bills you gotta do whatcha gotta do to make a living. Check out this inspirational video of Charmain Dacosta who despite her situation, is doing her thing and happy with it. *Image from Etsy.com

I've blogged on the topic of happiness a few times.  I still feel that despite our circumstances, it is a choice that we make. Here's a TED Talk by Shawn Achor, CEO of Good Think Inc. He researches and teaches about positive psychology.  This video is definitely worth checking out!

My sister, cousin, and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Thayer Hotel at West Point Academy in the room dedicated to our Uncle Henry Ossian Flipper! Check out this short video I made...   *Room Dedication Program video excerpts courtesy of Thayer Hotel
